High Pressure Aeroponics
Optima Plantas system is based on high pressure aeroponics, which means that the roots are situated in air whereby a nutrient solution is sprayed unto the roots at some frequency, using very small droplets sizes. The effect of aeroponics is saturated oxygen uptake from the roots resulting in up to 75% faster growth rate, depending on plant type.
Numerical Optimization (AI)
The very core of Optima Plantas technology and business is derived from numerical optimization of environmental parameters. The core technology is built upon answering questions such as: ”what is the best relative humidity to maximize growth rate”. Methodologies for planning experiments, collecting data and applying plant programs are integrated into the commercial system.
